Oi caros leitores!

Hi dear readers!
Two of my three workshops were registered here. They  were given inside Monteiro Lobato Library. Not that i know so much about origami but since i learnt to make a tsuru with help of Michael Lafosse Japanese paper crafting book i decided that i am able to give a workshop about origami for beginners.

Amei este livro ele ja esta na minha lista de compras!
i loved this book it is in my wish list!

Usei muitos livros para preparar as aulas.
Decidi usar a metodologia usada por Toshie Takahama em seu livro The joy of origami em que ela ensina primeiro as bases e depois os objetos dobrados.

Many books were used to think the classes.
Well i decided to use the same methodology shown in Toshie Takahama's book The joy of origami in wich she teaches first the bases and after the folded objects.

Então ensinei as seguintes bases:
So i taught the following bases:
  • Casa / Organ
  • Cone do sorvete / kite
  • Envelope / Blintz

Base casa: A propria casa e o piano
Base cone do sorvete: os bonecos
Base envelope: A caixa e a flor de lotus

Organ base: the house and the organ
kite base: the dolls
blintz base: the box and the lotus flower

Na segunda aula foram ensinados as mesmas bases e objetos com alguns acrescimos como a boca da raposa.
Na terceira aula fizemos a base do quadrado e do passarinho e o tsuru e o passarinho que bate asas.

in the second class the same bases and objects were taught with some others like the fox mouth.
in the third and last class we made the square base and the bird base. From these we made the tsuru and the flapping bird.

  2. Hi Sheila thanks for commenting!
These workshops were given so the Library could offer at least one July vacation activity to the people who go there.
At the beginning i was a little anxious but things happened well.
And yes, i was surprised by my little audience i never expected that there would be so many boys!
