Páginas pintadas em antigos cadernos / Painted pages in old handmade blank books

Hello dear readers!
I register here that I have recovered some of my longstitch handbound blank books that I made this year. They are a little forgotten but I decided to paint some pages of these blank books so they wouldnt be blank anymore!

  1. Looks like a fun project. I know they say it really helps to have some color on the page in advance. It seems to spark ideas better than a stark white one!

    1. Hi Sheila! Yes, it is a fun project but it demands discipline too because I only can paint 2 pages per day. I deliberately painted only notebooks that I am not using now in order to give time to try to paint all the pages of each of them.
And it is true that a decorated page helps to write: once I read that bookbinder Jeannine Stein once stayed in a craft market and although her blankbooks are stunning many of the potential buyers asked for decorated pages because blank pages are intimidating. And bookbinder Gwen Diehn makes so alluring pages that I decided to try.
      Thanks for commenting!!
