Hello, dear readers!
In July I have been telling stories for almost one year at the Childrens Ministry of Sao Paulo ICOC. It have been a year of learning e so much joy for sharing many Bible stories to children 4 to 6 years old, using resources as vegetables and cooking utensils. I am so blessed.

  1. Oh my, the picture of you holding up the potato, hand on chest, eyes close, so dramatic that it makes me wonder what story you were telling! Lucky kids. :-)

  2. Hi Sheila, thanks for writing! I told them the tale of David, before being a king, came back to Ziclage with his men while Saul got killed in his last battle against philistines. When David and his army got to Ziclage, they discovered that all their families were kidnapped by the Amalechites and all they got desperate. David prays to God and were told do go after their families in order to rescue them. It was a contrast between David and Saul.
The children liked, I can tell.
    Thanks a lot!

  3. As an adult, so many of these stories from the Old Testament seem maybe not appropriate for such young ears, but I remember being thoroughly engrossed by them as a child. If told properly, they have just as much to teach to children as they do to adults. And I can tell you are a proper storyteller.
