Minha segunda segunda-feira depois da aula foi muito bem aproveitada: decidimos almoçar no Jamie's Itaian, visitar a Catedral de Manchester, a Biblioteca de Cheetham e, no final, tomamos chá no salão Proper Tea.
Hi, dear readers! My second Monday after the class were very well spent: we decided to visit Jamie's Italian restaurant to have lunch, we visited Cathedral of Manchester, Cheetham's Library, e after all these, we had tea at Proper Tea.
Well, it wouldn't be a trip to England without a cathedral or two. :-) Gorgeous and awe-inspiring, and what a beautiful altar covering.

ExcluirIt is true! Manchester has very beautiful religious buildings, the Cathedral is only one of them. I hope that even they appear be empty (I visited it in a midweek day) the people who attend services on Sunday may be faithful to God.
Do you know, in my teenager years I read many Christian publications that were translation of English ones: they were so beautiful that I never forgot them. I searched for this English spirit, of beauty with faith. And I wasn't disapointed.
